Why is an outside completion not on my training plan?
Let's look at common reasons why an outside completion may not be showing on your training plan as you expect.
The first cause may be the training is out of date.
We count any class between the initial date of your certification and the expiration date on your training plan. If your outside completion is listed as being completed before your initial date, the class wont show on the plan. Example: You completed Pediatric Airway Management on 2/17/2025, you initial date is listed as 3/31/2025 and your expiration is 3/31/2027. This class won't count because it was completed before your current certification cycle started.
The initial date and expiration date are added by you when entering a certification. You can get these dates from your NREMT account under recertification cycle or from your states site.

The other cause is the class not being added to the correct plan and section.
When you add an outside completion, you must attach it to a specific training plan and a specific category. Because we don’t have full details about the external class, we can only apply it exactly where you place it. Even if two categories on different plans look like they have the same requirements, you’ll need to add the class separately to each plan and category where you want it to appear.
